Also known as Mendo Purps or The Purps, this Sungrown marijuana strain was a Top Ten winner in 2007 with High Times Strains of the Year.
This strain began as a clone-only plant of the medical marijuana community of Mendocino County, California. This means that whoever crossed this strain originally handed out clones to select medical marijuana patients and it took off from there. It’s an Indica dominant strain with its best attribute being its long-lasting euphoria. In Arizona it is commonly referred to as “Purps” or “Purple Mendo.” Like all Indicas, it is perfect for pain, muscle spasms from that of Multiple Sclerosis, and migraine headaches to name a few.
