Garden Grove is a bustling community located in the northern section of California’s Orange County. It is most famous for being the headquarters Crystal Cathedral, a religious organization that regularly broadcasts from the area.

Garden Grove is also distinctive for having the second-largest population of people of Vietnamese heritage, numbering more than 47,300 according to the census of 2010. This number also represents the highest concentration of Vietnamese Americans in any U.S. city.

Many of the city’s residents live in and around the West Garden Grove area, which is situated in Garden Grove’s westernmost section. The community is linked to the rest of the town by way of a narrow throughway adjacent to Garden Grove Boulevard.

Harbor Boulevard has become especially active in recent years, with the development of several leisure and entertainment establishments. Today, there are nine hotels in operation on Harbor Boulevard.

Garden Grove is the location of one of the largest community festivals in the country. Called the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival, the event takes place during Memorial Weekend every year, and attracts more than 250,000 visitors from all over the country.

Garden Grove also boasts of a vibrant cultural scene, with three notable stage theaters currently active in the area. These include the Garden Grove Playhouse, Gem Theater and the Festival Amphitheater.
