Home to the world-famous Knott’s Berry Farm, Buena Park offers a number of tourist and residential options that make it one of the most desirable places to live in Orange County. Also known as “The Center of the Southland”, Buena Park is located in metropolitan Los Angeles, only 12 miles from the seat of Orange County, which is Santa Ana. Buena Park had a population of more than 80,500 as estimated in the 2010 census.

With its primary theme park facilities, the adjacent water park, and the celebrated dinner shows, Knott’s Berry Farm is one of Buena Park’s most popular attractions. The area offers a number of other popular attractions as well however, many of which are located along Beach Boulevard. Here, numerous leisure and entertainment establishments dot the E-Zone strip, among them the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, which attracts thousands of people to Buena Park every year. Other notable attractions are the quaint Japanese Village and the lush setting of the Deer Park located right on Knott Avenue.

For many years, Buena Park was also well known for the Movieland Wax Museum, (which at the time was the world’s largest wax museum) and the Nabisco factory on Artesia. Both establishments were ceased operations in the mid 2000s.
