Fullerton is a bustling community in Orange County’s northern section, with a population estimated at about 135,161 during the 2010 census. Fullerton offers a distinctive combination of stunning natural attractions, commercial developments, and a vibrant culture and social scene.

In the early years of Fullerton, it was primarily an agricultural community, with much of its revenue generated by the orange and citrus groves in the area. By the late 1800s and the early 1900s, Fullerton had developed substantial capability in petroleum production.  Still later, various industries begun to corporate up in and around the city, the most notable of which centered on the transportation; and manufacturing industries. Fullerton is also the location of some of the most respected universities and colleges in the West Coast, among them California State University and Fullerton College.

Fullerton is also known the world over for its local music scene, which has been a fertile breeding ground for numerous high-profile acts. The city was a hotbed for the burgeoning hardcore punk scene of the 1980s, and it is also the original location of the Fender musical instrument company’s facilities, which played a significant role in developing the global music industry by way of its legendary musical instruments.
